An Appraisal Of Illiterate Mothers Perception On Birth Control

AN APPRAISAL OF ILLITERATE MOTHERS PERCEPTION ON BIRTH CONTROL (A CASE STUDY OF ONITSHA NORTH L.G.A)

ABSTRACT

This study was undertaken to find out the attitude of illiterate mothers in Onitsha North L.G.A toward birth control. This project tries to find out why these illiterate mothers neglect birth control thus produce as many children as possible even to their own detriment. To make this study successful, questionnaires were used to collect the necessary data. In answering the question, the data collected and information gathered were analysed using the sample percentages. The result revealed that they produce many children because they have no idea of the existence of an organized instruction on birth control, some didn’t like the idea of birth control and some their husband didn’t like to practice birth control. On the basis of these findings some recommendations were made on how to motivate people to accept and practice birth control. [Read more…]

ABSTRACT

This study attempts to find out the challenges of entrepreneurship in Home and Rural Economics Education. The sample was a total of 60 respondents that comprises teachers and entrepreneurs in Home and Rural Economics from Federal Polytechnic, Oko in Anambra State Nigeria. Five research questions were stated and acted as a guide for the study analyzed using simple percentage. The researcher found out the challenges of entrepreneurship in Home and Rural Economics Education. On the basis of these findings, recommendations are made on how students should be equipped with knowledge and skill of Entrepreneurship in Home and Rural Economics Education for better living, being creative and resourceful women. THE IMPACT OF FAMILY PLANNING CAMPAIGN ON IBAGWA COUPLES IN IGBO EZE SOUTH LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA ENUGU STATE.

ABSTRACT.

The study examined the impact of family planning campaign on Ibagwa couples. The study highlighted the factors militating against appreciable acceptance of family planning practices. It further sought solutions to the hindrances. Simple random sample of three hundred and fifty (350) respondents was drawn from the seven (7) villagers that make up the research question.
